Good morning, Buckeye fans! I’m happy to announce this is the first ever post on Inside The Shoe on February 29! Happy Leap Day!
However, I’m getting tired of writing about Ohio State having to bounce back from a weekend defeat against an inferior opponent on the road, but that’s exactly what I have to write again today.
The Buckeyes face off against Northwestern tonight at 8:30 Eastern Time, needing a win to keep any shot at a share of the B1G title alive.

Hoosiers take down Sparty. Ohio State needs to send a big thank you down to Bloomington after Indiana knocked off Michigan State 70-55 at Assembly Hall last night. With wins tonight against Northwestern and at Michigan State this weekend, the Buckeyes would clinch a share of the Big Ten regular season title.
Ray Small is in someone else’s doghouse. Ray Small is in trouble. Big trouble. Small was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over on Sunday evening and was found to have multiple illegal substances with him. He was officially charged with a fifth-degree felony for possession of 243 oxycodone pills. Police also believe he had heroin and marijuana, which are undergoing testing to confirm the substances. Small also had a .25 caliber pistol on him.
Chalk another one up for Urbz. Urban Meyer got another commit. This time it was from 2013 offensive lineman Evan Lisle from Centerville, Ohio. If Centerville sounds familiar to you, Buckeye fans, it should. Centerville is the hometown of Buckeye greats such as A.J. Hawk, Mike Nugent and Nick Mangold. Lisle is the fifth player from the class of 2013 to commit to Ohio State, joining Cam Burrows, Eli Woodard, Billy Price and Jalin Marshall.
That’s all I’ve got for you today, Buckeye fans. Here’s a reminder to follow me on Twitter: @StephanSharp. Make sure you enjoy today, it only comes around once every four years!
